Student Keynote Application

Selection Criteria:

The C&SSLDI 2023 keynote sub-committee will select two speeches based on the following criteria:

1. Reflect the 2023 theme and the programming categories… Lights, Camera, Leadership

   1. As a student leader, how have you taken your leadership skills beyond your role?

   2. How have you supported and inspired other leaders?

   3. How have you embraced the ideas of innovation and creativity as a leader?

2.  Ability to inspire and excite other paraprofessional staff

3.  Quality of the written script (ability to articulate thoughts, appropriate language)

4. Delivery (ability to communicate through speech) or through other creative means.

 

The keynote presentation can be no more than 5 minutes in length. The presentation can include audio/visual components, if needed.

If selected, the keynote speaker must be in attendance at the conference and will be given preparation instructions prior to the conference.

 

Keynote speaker applications will close on Friday, October 23rd, 2023 at 12pm. The speaker selected will be notified via email of their speech selected for the conference. 

 

One speaker will speak at the opening session and one speaker will speak at the closing session.
